R.I.P. Eddie Balandas 1952-2011
Balandas was a KISS security guard who provided the thundering “You wanted the best, you got the best” intro that kicks off the Alive II album.  He died October 10. Here’s a clip of Balandas and J.R. Smalling (who provided the band’s intro on Alive!) reminiscing at the NJ KISS Expo in May.
